Notes: Fifty-seven (57) percent of small employers who do not have a written policy on the use of drugs and alcohol verbally advise employees of their drugs and alcohol policy when they are hired (Q#1a). Seventy-six (76) percent of small employers have a policy on drugs and alcohol, either verbally transmitted to employees or available to them in writing (Q#1a).
